Ludhiana, Punjab

Our efforts in India started in the summer of 2016.

Ludhiana was a great place to start the organisation because Samay spent every summer here with his family. Through much of their philanthropic work in the area, Samay understood the needs of the community and created a partnership with Saadi Rasoi and the Anjal Sewa Trust to help provide rice and flour provisions on a monthly basis. Each month, Million Meals Missions sends 1320lbs (600kg) of rice and 1320lbs (600kg) of flour farmed from local farms.

The rice and flour is then used to prepare meals for labourers, children, and families of admitted patients of the Civil Hospital.
